BLACKBOOK 01 – CRYE ONE

It took 15 years of documentation, research, and production for ILOVEGRAFFITI.DE to release this book. In the era of analog photography, a graffiti writer’s blackbook held high status as it contained the masterpieces of their own designs, sketches, pieces, and tags. With the emerge of digital photography and the general virtual media saturation with its associated mass consumption, the real blackbook became less relevant.

One more reason to get back to genuine collector’s items. That’s why there’s an exclusive and highly limited special edition of the first BLACKBOOK 01 by artist CRYE from Berlin, packaged in a beautiful MOLOTOW cotton bag.

Despite being active since the early 2000s, CRYE hasn’t put much value on publishing photos. This allowed ILOVEGRAFFITI.DE to fill a 128-page hardcover book with 350 exclusive photos. In addition to a comprehensive interview with CRYE, friends and mentors such as SKUME, AZUR, JEPSY, BAS2, BLUE, FOTO SVEN, KALASH, and QUER were also interviewed about their thoughts on CRYE.
